WOLF
VOSTELL

Wolf Vostell (Leverkusen, October 14, 1932 – Berlin, April 3, 1998) was a German painter, sculptor, and artist. He was a pioneer of video art, video installation, and installations, and a key figure in the Fluxus movement.

Although not in contact with the American art scene at the time, he introduced to Europe a form of art similar to what Allan Kaprow was developing in the same years: the happening.
